Nick Zavior is Singapore’s newest vocal phenomenon.
Graduating in 2016 from Lasalle College of the Arts, Nick excelled and won the prestigious McNally Award for Excellence in the Arts.
Having been introduced to all kinds of music at a young age, Nick became heavily influenced by Rhythm & Blues, which then led to his interest and love of funk, soul and gospel music.
His velvety smooth voice has impressed audiences and fans at highly acclaimed clubs and events all around the region.
Nick has also been the main act at notable events in Singapore such as The 2014 REBEL Fighting Championships, 2016 Aliwal Urban Arts Festival & Esplanade’s NYE countdown parties just to name a few.
The highlight of Nick’s career came early this year when he was handpicked by legendary producer David Foster to feature in his concert tour David Foster & Friends. As described by the Straits Times, Nick “made Singapore proud” at the Singjazz International Festival 2017.
Alongside A-Listers Chaka Khan and Brian McKnight, Nick gave a captivating and flawless performance of “The Last Time’”by Eric Benet, to an audience of over 4000.
Nick is currently working on his debut EP, that is set to be released at the end of the year.
Bluey Maunick, founder of British group Incognito has already expressed his excitement for Nick's debut release. R&B Superstar Brian McKnight described him as “one to watch for the future” and Grammy Award winning drummer JR Robinson said, "he is a rare talent I am keen to work with."

Les 3 groupes musicaux du secondaire se constituent en septembre.
Ils permettent aux collégiens et aux lycéens une pratique musicale: vocale et instrumentale. Les groupes sont tournés vers la reprise et l’interprétation de chansons de tous styles (rock, pop, tradtitionnels) en toutes langues et ils sont une dynamique importante dans la vie du LFS. Ils participent à de nombreux évènements et conerts au cours de l’année à l’interieur et à l’exterieur du LFS, des projets en collaboration avec des artistes et permettant des rencontres musicales inspirantes. L’atelier musique au lycée est aussi un atelier de création de chanson. Deux CD ont été créé : ”Atmosphères”( 2013.), ”DonutSphère” (2014), ainsi qu’un clip vidéo: ”Singapore in Harmony” pour célébrer les 50 ans de Singapour. Notre dernière chanson “It’s your moment”, a été déclaré en juin 2016, hymne officiel des Jeux Internationaux de la Jeunesse par le Directeur de l’AEFE . |
The 3 high school musical groups are formed in September.
It gives the pupils an opportunity to a vocal and instrumental practice. The groups are taking on songs of all styles (rock, pop, tradtitionals), in all languages and they are an important dynamic in the LFS’s life. They take part in numerous events and performances throughout the year, inside and outside the LFS; collaborating projects with artists and inspiring musical encounters. The music workshop in the lycée is also a song creation workshop. Two CDs have been created: "Atmospheres" (2013.), "DonutSphere" (2014), as well as a video clip: "Singapore in Harmony" to celebrate 50 years of Singapore. Our last song composition, "It's your moment" was declared in June 2016, the official anthem of the International Youth Games by the Director of the AEFE. |
